Lagos life, what's it like to live in the 'worst' city in the world

I can't impress how much i loved my time in Lagos enough, and i will be back as soon as i have a plan to make a longer term stay viable. I had little idea what to expect before i landed, as everything i read about Nigeria from the outside was negative. I had three people on the ground that i loved working with and trusted their judgement, so i went for it! If not now then when?!

expat life in marvellous melbourne

I pitched up in Melbourne in December 2014 with 2 bags, 2 friends and no plan! It was one hell of an adventure and i was filled with tears when i left this truly marvellous city a year later. Read about the highs and lows of Melbourne life as a grown up WHV immigrant here

buckinghamshire to beijing by rail and sea

I am a romantic traveller, i fall in love with the idea of places and just have to go see them. I wanted to experience the magic of arriving from London into the Orient by train. I was terrified before i started as all the write ups told me to beware of being robbed/tricked/attacked by everyone. It was one of the best trips i have ever taken. If the thought has ever crossed your mind, DO IT! Read about my journey on the Trans-Mongolian train and beyond here!
